Goals
THE N2 FFESSM is the second level diver. It allows for exploration dives up to 40m deep within a team of 4 divers equivalent with a dive leader holding at least the level 4. And up to 20m within a whole host of 3 divers holder of at least the same level of autonomy. This training provides access to level 3 then to level 4 FFESSM Dive Guide.

Prerequisites
- License FFESSM in progress
- Level 1 (or equivalent) – OBLIGATORY
- Age ≥ 18 years
- Medical certificate < 1 year by a general practitioner
Target audience: beginner divers wishing to progress towards autonomy to 20m and explorations up to 40m
Calendar
- Continuous registration
- Session : 7 days (recommended) – possible modules
- Schedule: sea training + theoretical course on land
- Access time: 48 hours from registration

Gateway to the DEJEPS (RNCP 38065)
THE DEJEPS Underwater Diving Activities (RNCP 38065) requires obtaining levels 1, 2 and 3 before being able to access the training GP-N4 (Dive Leader's Guide).

Evaluation methods
– Continuous assessment and validation of exercises during the training:
– Controlled immersion, ascent and exit from the water
– Successful assisted ascent
– Fluid and regular communication
– Safely emptying of the mask at 20m
– Controlled stabilization and ventilation
– Dive planning and adaptability
– 250m swim with fins, mask, and snorkel, and 100m swim with a cape
